ACE (Advanced Clinical Elective)
Course Description
This elective service deals primarily with diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus. Benign disease, such as hemorrhoids, anal fistulae, anal fissures, diverticulitis, gastrointestinal bleeding and inflammatory bowel disease among others, will be seen and thoroughly discussed and learned. In addition, the entire spectrum
of colon and rectal cancer will be seen and treated.
