Course Description
The Department of Psychiatry offers an elective in Geriatric Psychiatry. The elective can be tailored to the
student’s special needs. Clinical experiences focus on diseases that are more prevalent in the geriatric
population such as psychoses in the elderly, mood disorders in the elderly, delirium and cognitive
disorders.
